Buttercup 11

Overview

The brief was deeply personal — a family home named for Buttercup, the owner’s cherished dog. It had to feel monumental yet intimate; a house that carried memory without ever becoming a memorial.

We organised the plan around light and pause. Warm timber, honed stone and deep green tile ground the interiors, while generous ceiling heights and long sightlines let each room breathe. Every material was chosen to soften with time, so the house grows more itself with every passing year.
